Direct Line Group is switching facilities management provider from today, and has confirmed that all Carillion colleagues will be able to transfer to the new contract-holder

Direct Line Group has confirmed today that it is transitioning to a new facilities management provider effective immediately, after the insurer was caught up in the fall out from contract-holder Carillion’s liquidation.

Employees in Direct Line Group’s buildings who were employed by Carillion will now transfer to its new provider Ascot Services and Mainstay Group.

In January, it was revealed that fallen construction giant Carillion held Direct Line Group’s facilities management contract. Direct Line Group confirmed at the time that it had “robust contingency plans” in place to deal with the event.
