Marsh has launched a new personal accident, contingency and entertainment practice (PACE) as part of its UK retail placement business in London.

PACE consists of six industry professionals who are involved in the structuring, placement and administration of insurance programmes for the entertainment industry.

The industry areas covered will include professional sports teams and individual players, television broadcasters and film producers and music production companies operating in high risk environments.

PACE said it can work with clients on cancellation of major events, non appearance of stars at concerts or shows and death or disgrance in addition to many others eventualities.

The team will be lead by Lennox Batten, who said: "PACE's specialist team is uniquely placed to effectively manage the often complex insurance and risk programmes associated with the entertainment industry."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
