Two recuits to bolster London business

Marsh has announced several senior sales appointments in an attempt to drive growth in London’s mid-corporate market.

Two new members, Andrew Wilton and Mark Lumley, will be added to the team.

Wilton will lead the team. He joins Marsh’s City of London office from Lockton, and has worked in the industry for 17 years in various business development roles.

Lumley has been appointed as a Development Executive, responsible for new business development, specialising in real estate, construction and healthcare.

Hicks will assume the role of Sales and Service Leader of the office, and will oversee its business development strategy. He joins the team from Marsh’s Multinational business in London.

Richard Park is promoted within the City team to Client Executive Team Leader. He is responsible for strengthening existing client relationships and driving growth through the provision of additional Marsh services. Mr Park is also a Chartered Engineer and worked in the construction and petrochemicals industry before moving into insurance 20 years ago.

Commenting on the appointments, Julie Page, Southern Zone Leader for Marsh’s National business, said: “More and more businesses in the mid-sized sector are realising that risk management is a crucial business tool, rather than a tick-box requirement, and are seeking professional advisers that can deliver more than just an insurance transaction.

“Mark, Richard, Andrew and Mark all have a wealth of experience in risk and insurance, which combined, make them a powerful force to drive growth in our City office. Their experience, coupled with our location, makes us ideally placed to service mid-sized clients in and around London.”
