Role to focus on business development in area

Marsh has appointed Tim Fisher as sales and service leader of its Milton Keynes office.

Fisher will be responsible for driving Marsh’s business development and client relationship strategy in the Milton Keynes area.

A Centre of Excellence within Marsh for the rapidly expanding international business sector, the Milton Keynes office provides risk advice and insurance solutions to international organisations with UK operations.

Milton Keynes also handles UK-based business within its region, and specialises in the motor trade, automotive, higher education, food and beverage and manufacturing sectors.

Fisher has been with Marsh for two years and previously led the firm’s trade credit practice in the Central and South West regions of the UK.

Before joining Marsh, Fisher worked in the personal finance sector and at Aon Trade Finance, where he was involved in business development, client relationship management and team leadership.

Commenting on Fisher’s appointment, David Harvey, managing director of Marsh, central region, said: “Tim’s appointment is key to our growth in Milton Keynes.
