Millhouse has launched Premier Home Insurance, a household product combing buildings, contents and all risks cover. But it's no ordinary home policy says the company - it has been designed to give brokers more control.

Millhouse brokers will receive an information pack wihich includes an interactive CD. The CD gives extensive information on the product, including policy wordings and details of declined risks.

Millhouse's head underwriter Steve Shuttleworth explains: "On the surface this is a standard household package which fills an important gap in the Millhouse range of products.

"However, we have responded to demands from brokers to have more control over the underwriting process and the CD gives them just that. Effectively they can now handle the whole insurance transaction in-house," he adds.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
