Readers may have read elsewhere in this issue about broker Matthew Hewitt winning the QBE Fantasy Football league. What you will not know is that the Elstree Insurance broker had some unique intervention from his five year old daughter Millie.
At half-time Hewitt was trailing by four points in the table and was much in need of goal. Knowing this was important for her dad, and a trip to Disneyland depended on it, Millie then went away to draw a picture of a player scoring a goal, creating the cute work of art here. Soon after, Chelsea’s Didier Drogba scored the goal that won Matthew the title.
