Retired Marsh & McLennan (MMC) executive John Sinnott has been appointed to the corporation's board.
Sinnott retired in 2003 as chairman and chief executive officer of Marsh. He will serve as vice chairman of MMC and a member of the executive committee.
"His appointment will position him to have the broadest impact on our risk and insurance services segments," said MMC chief executive Michael Cherkasky.
"His 42 years of association with Marsh & McLennan and his industry knowledge will be of great value to Marsh."
