Bodyshop trade bodies the Retail motor Industry Federation (RMI) and the Scottish Motor Trade Association (SMTA) have formed an alliance.
They will hold regular joint meetings and future initiatives will be agreed and introduced throughout the UK.
RMI bodyshop services manager, Bob Hood said: "I believe our joint position and application of one Quality Standard will add impetus to our discussions with insurers and work providers."
