Audatex is going to cheer up the owners of crashed cars by allowing them to watch the repairs in process.

The bodyshop repair imaging system, Audamanager, enables customers to update themselves on the status of their vehicle via their PC or digital television.

Using a standard web browser, customers can see whether their cars are in the panel shop, the spray booth or awaiting parts, and can also access additional information such as excess payable, confirmation of completion dates and the whole estimate.

The information is provided by the system's barcode-driven time recording input module (TRIM) that tracks each stage.
