Navigators & General wins Sunseeker account

Zurich-owned Navigators & General (N&G) has signed a deal to become the insurer for the bespoke Sunseeker Owners Insurance Facility (Shield).

The UK yacht and motorboat insurer said the Sunseeker account will become its largest portfolio.

N&G secured the deal via Dorset based E. Coleman and Company.

N&G said Sunseeker is also a "major customer" for Zurich’s commercial broker business, adding that it "represents a strengthening of their existing relationship with Zurich".

James Roberts, head of Navigators & General, said: “Schemes are an important, strategic growth area for us and this deal consolidates Navigators’ appetite, long-standing expertise and operational capability to grow portfolio business regardless of the line of business.”
