Greystoke Legal Services has signalled a change in how it will deal with personal injury (after the event) insurance.

It has told its 1200 members that the company will offer cover for lower value cases on a delegated scheme basis only.

Managing director Sally Dunscombe said: "Our research with solicitors stressed the need for them to have control of acceptance of individual cases and concerns for the cost of administrating fast-track cases.

"For example, the cost of explaining a Conditional Fee Agreement is often greater than the possible success fee."

From now on the company will just cover a limited amount of personal injury cases, under the umbrella of one of its delegated insurance arrangements with a law firm.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
