Bristol firm poaches specialist team

Law firm Morgan Cole has poached a team of specialist insurance lawyers from rival firm Tayntons, as its looks to expand its personal injury practice.

The 10-strong team is headed by partner Mark Bailey and leading injury lawyer Graham Morris.

Neil McLaughlin, head of Morgan Cole’s insurance practice, said: “This is a team with a national reputation, particularly in advising on catastrophic injury claims, which is an area of our practice that we have been very keen to expand.”

The team will be based at Morgan Cole’s office in Temple Meads, Bristol, which was opened last year, initially to serve the corporate finance market in the South West.

Morgan Cole employs 450 staff in offices in Reading, Oxford, Bristol, Cardiff and Swansea.

Morgan Cole conducts cases, including employers’, public and product liability, and personal injury, including disease claims, on behalf of general insurers.
