JLT hires Lambert chief
Broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) has continued the expansion of its real estate sector with the appointment of Paul Welling as chairman. Welling joins from Health Lambert, where he also chaired the real estate division.
Aon appoints broker head
Aon Global has appointed Rob Woods as chief executive of its London broking teams. He will be responsible for ensuring global clients receive insurance programme design, placement and access to the global markets. Woods is currently chief executive of Aon’s natural resources and construction team and will continue to manage this area until a successor is appointed.
Allianz in WPS deal
Allianz Commercial has been appointed sole supplier for WPS Insurance Brokers’ book of small business.
