It follows Trump supporters storming the Capitol on 6 January in protest of the voting system which the outgoing president claimed was ”fraudulent”

Aon has terminated its relationship with the Trump Organisation – the hotel luxury residence and golf course business of the Trump family that is run by president Donald Trump’s son’s Eric and Donald.

A spokesperson for Aon told Insurance Times: “We can confirm we have ended our relationship with the Trump Organisation.” 

However, Aon also stressed that “as a matter of company policy, we do not comment on client matters”.

It follows Trump supporters storming the Capitol building in Washington D.C, the meeting place for the US congress. Protesters broke into the Capitol where president elect Joe Biden was on 6 January, and ransacked the building pulling historical plaques from the walls.
