Apollo has appointed Mike Krefta as a non-executive director at Apollo Syndicate Management.

Krefta has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance sector spanning both London and Bermuda.

Among roles he held was chief executive of Hiscox Re and ILS, being responsible for driving strategy across Bermuda, London and Paris teams.

Most recently, he founded Meadow Consulting Limited, a (re)insurance consulting business advising multinational insurance companies and institutional investors on business strategy, risk management, product development, ILS and ESG practices.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
