Hybrid insurer Bridgehaven Europe Specialty has appointed Fiona Marry as its new European chief executive.

Marry will lead the firm’s expansion across Europe in her new role, with the specialty insurer currently growing its network of MGA partners in this part of the world.
Erik Matson, group chairman at Bridgehaven Europe, said: “We are very happy to have Marry join our team as the chief executive of our European entity.
”Her extensive underwriting experience within multiple markets will be invaluable as we grow our capabilities in Ireland and the rest of the EU.

Experience
Marry joins from Dublin-based USAA EU insurance, where she had most recently acted as chief executive.

Prior to this, Marry served at Hamilton Fraser DAC as its chief executive and chief underwriting officer.

”Having worked in multimarket channels, I am excited to deliver this innovative model into the EU, bringing together MGAs and reinsurers for mutual growth.”
