Aon has appointed Adam Reed as chief commercial officer of major, complex and enterprise clients for commercial risk in the UK.

In his new role, Reed will drive growth with FTSE350 and private businesses, working closely with Aon leaders across the country, including Amy Froude, chief commercial officer of commercial risk for the UK.
He will be based in London and report to Rob Kemp, chief executive of commercial risk in the UK.
Kemp said: “Reed will be joining Aon at a time when more large global businesses are looking to us to help them navigate the evolving risk management landscape, both across various product classes and in increasingly sophisticated scenarios.”
Experience
Reed will join from Howden, where he held the position of managing director of large and complex risks.

Prior to this, he held senior roles at both Marsh and Willis Towers Watson, in which he led major account relationships.
He will take up his new role at Aon in September 2026.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
