Axa XL has appointed Leyla Delic as chief technology and artificial intelligence (AI) officer.

Based in London, she will report to chief executive Scott Gunter and Matthieu Caillat, group chief technology and AI officer and chief executive of Axa Group operations.
Delic makes the move from her position as corporate chief digital and information officer at Abdul Latif Jameel, which she has held since 2024.
Gunter said: “Delic brings a wealth of experience in technology and digital leadership, with an impressive track record of helping global businesses modernise, scale and unlock value through digital and AI transformation.”

Delic has over 20 years of experience in technology.

She held multiple leadership roles at GE Healthcare over her eight year stint at the company from 2010, including chief information officer and lean leader.
Over the course of her career, she also served as group chief information and digital officer at Coca-Cola Içecek and global head of value realisation at Aon.
