As an associate the insurer and legal services provider can access statistics and other services

Insurance firm, Carpenters has joined the ABI as an associate member.

The ABI has over 250 members and around 30 associate members. Associate members include legal firms, consultants, software houses and white label brands.

Membership provides companies with access to statistics, industry updates, networking opportunities and reduced rates for ABI events, the ABI said in a statement.

“It’s great to have Carpenters on board as our latest associate member. We have a long-standing and collaborative relationship with the Carpenters team and work together on a range of challenging public policy issues,” ABI director general Huw Evans said.

”With the Civil Liability Act on the statute book, it is important for insurers and claimant law firms to improve our dialogue in the interests of the customers we both serve. I look forward to deepening this relationship even further as we work together in the future.”

While commenting on social media, Carpenters director Donna Scully said: “It’s taken time, change and trust. We’ll continue to fight for best for customers.”

Carpenters also become an IFP affiliate member last year.
