’It creates a straightforward route to market for brokers and a valuable employee benefit for employers,’ says head
Chubb has launched a new digital platform designed to help employers offer personal accident and travel insurance as part of their employee benefits programmes.
The proposition, called Flexible Benefits Direct, enables companies to provide employees with access to Chubb’s personal accident and leisure travel insurance products through an online purchasing journey.
The insurer said the platform has been designed to make employee benefits easier to access while reducing administration for employers and brokers.
Under the model, broker firms receive a dedicated digital link that can be shared with clients and their employees either as a standalone offering or integrated into an existing benefits platform. Employees are then able to select the level of cover that best suits their individual needs.
Chubb manages the entire process, including premium collection, policy documentation and claims handling.
Growing demand
By digitising the customer journey, Chubb believes businesses can offer additional insurance benefits without creating significant administrative burdens for HR teams.

The launch also reflects growing demand for flexible benefits solutions that allow employees to tailor protection to their individual circumstances and lifestyle needs.
Leon Burton, head of A&H corporate for UKISA at Chubb, said: “We are excited to launch Chubb Flexible Benefits Direct.
”With broad coverage for employees and families, flexible options to suit different needs and the backing of a world-leading insurer with strong claims capability, it creates a straightforward route to market for brokers and a valuable employee benefit for employers. ”
