’He is a highly acclaimed and leading figure,’ says chief executive

Compre has appointed Daniel Fiehn as its new chief operating officer, a statement released yesterday (11 July 2023) revealed.

The legacy acquirer, which has operations in the UK and at Lloyd’s, said Fiehn will be responsible for IT, data, change and facilities, with a particular focus on driving the use of technology and data across the business.

This will include automation and data analytics to support Compre’s growth following its SiriusPoint loss portfolio transfer, which was completed earlier in July.

Fiehn will report to Compre chief executive Will Bridger.

Experience

Compre has years of experience in the acquisition and management of (re)insurance companies.

It said Fiehn will bring 30 years of experience in operational, technology and leadership roles in global financial services to his new position at the firm.

He previously served as chief operating officer at insurtech Incited and held the same position at Markerstudy Insurance Group before that.
