Global legal and business services provider strengthens London team with high-profile disputes specialist

DWF has appointed Jemma Brimblecombe as a partner in its professional indemnity team in London, as the firm looks to deepen its capabilities in complex negligence and insurance-related disputes.

Brimblecombe joins from Kingsley Napley, where she led the professional negligence practice. She brings experience advising on high-value, complex claims involving solicitors, accountants and valuers alongside broader commercial litigation, fraud and breach of contract matters.

Her expertise includes professional negligence claims linked to property and real estate transactions, audit negligence and allegations against financial and legal professionals.

She also has direct experience of the insurance market, having completed a year-long secondment and built relationships with insurers and brokers.

Brimblecombe said DWF’s culture and strong insurance sector connections made it “an excellent fit” for her practice.

She added: “I am looking forward to using my experience across both claimant and defendant professional negligence matters to support clients, strengthen relationships with insurers and brokers, and help grow the team further.”

An excellent fit

Brimblecombe has also been recognised in the Legal 500, the Lexology Index and Global Investigations Review and has acted on major cases including the Danish Customs and Tax Administration litigation (SKAT).

Harriet Quiney, head of DWF’s professional indemnity team in London, said Brimblecombe’s arrival would enhance the firms offering.

”Brimblecombe is an outstanding addition to the team and brings an impressive breadth of experience across professional negligence, insurance and commercial litigation matters,” she said.
