Charlie Huffam, construction insurance specialist at Konsileo, talks to Insurance Times about his strong performance in this year’s Fantasy Football league
Picking up an impressive 262 points across the month of November, Charlie Huffam, construction insurance specialist at Konsileo has taken home the accolade of the Insurance Times Fantasy Football League’s Manager of the Month.

This point haul has seen him shoot up the table, landing in 39th following gameweek 14, when he scored 82 points.
So, before gameweek 15 kicks off, Insurance Times picked Huffam’s brains on what has been going so right.
1. Congrats on being the top scoring manager of the month for November, how do you rate your chances of climbing the table further?
After a shaky start to the season, I have had consistent green arrows for the past six or seven game weeks, so hopefully this can continue over festive period! The games come thick and fast so rotation risks, suspensions and injuries will all play their part no doubt.
2. What are the key decisions to make ahead of Gameweek 15?
Luckily, I jumped on the Phil Foden train two weeks ago, so he is already in before the price rises – if he isn’t in your team I would make that a priority.

We all get bumped up to five free transfers after this week’s deadline due to the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon), so I wanted to use up any transfers before this.
I’ve gone boring, targeted the Burnley fixture with Newcastle’s Livramento in after his good recent performances. Semenyo, Joao Pedro and Virgil van Dijk are all on the hit list though for next week!
3. Who would you call out as an under-rated player for everyone’s Fantasy squad?
Elliot Anderson at Nottingham Forrest. He’s not a glamorous pick, but he consistently hits defensive contribution points and is a low budget option that enables funds to be spread elsewhere.
Another would be Everton’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall who looks a great enabler at £5m and in great form for an improving Everton side.
4. Who or what would you like to call out in the insurance industry?
I would like to shout out the company I work for – Konsileo! We have just walked away from the Insurance Times Awards with the Commercial Lines Broker of the Year award for the second year running!
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
