’He is an exceptional leader with a proven track-record of driving growth and innovation,’ says president

Risk and claims management services firm Gallagher Bassett has appointed Manan Sagar as its new UK chief executive.

Sagar, who brings decades of experience to the role, will be responsible for overseeing the handling of claims and service provided to customers.

Gallagher Bassett’s global president and chief executive Scott Hudson said Sagar’s appointment reflected “the ongoing dedication and commitment of the organisation to serve the evolving needs of our clients”.

“Manan is an exceptional leader with a proven track-record of driving growth and innovation across the insurance and technology sectors in the Americas, APAC and EMEA,” Hudson added.

“His expertise will ensure our dedicated teams continue to deliver on our promise of superior claim outcomes and exceptional service.”

Sagar joins the firm from Genesys, where he was most recently global head of insurance.

Prior to that, he held leadership positions at Fujitsu, Capita, Allied World, Lockton and Willis Towers Watson.

“The insurance industry is continually transforming and I look forward to working alongside the Gallagher Bassett UK leadership team to drive continued growth in the evolving UK marketplace,” Sagar said.

“Service excellence has always been a part of Gallagher Bassett’s reputation and I’m looking forward to supporting the team to continue to drive even better outcomes for our clients and customers.”
