Why did you enter the MGA Initiative of the Year award?

Poonam Sejpal

We entered this category as we are servicing a niche and high risk segment of the industry which is not attractive to other insurers.

Both courier and private hire vehicle (PHV) customers are categorised in the industry as high risk, often enduring high premiums.

We wanted to make the market fairer within both of these industries whilst also investing in risk management to ensure they were fully supported throughout the year.

What do you think makes your entry stand out and why should you win the award?

We are changing the way insurance is viewed in the market for these two segments and showing that performance for these customers can be sustained throughout the year if the correct support, mitigation and advice is in place.

This makes the premium fairer and supports the customer in reducing costs across their company.

What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?

Winning MGA initiative of the year would be a huge recognition for all teams within B2B at Zego.

Our teams go above and beyond daily to service customers and ensure that we support their business in remaining operational throughout the year.

We also support new business ventures in their journey and this would showcase the achievements made as a business.
