Adam Morghem, brand, marketing and sustainability director at Premium Credit, explains his firm’s entry to the Business Partner of the Year – strategic and professional services category
1. Why did you put yourselves forward for the category?
We want to share the benefits generated by our fair value programme and the way we work with partners to make regulation a competitive advantage, improve customer outcomes and prevent compliance becoming a tick-box exercise.

We have built a partner-centric approach, helping raise awareness and understanding of regulatory responsibilities, and providing tools and guidance to support their own fair value assessments, which have been reviewed by the FCA through their Premium Finance Market Study.
Our dedicated fair value team combines first-line governance expertise with second-line compliance oversight and works alongside sales to support partners, strengthen governance and challenge higher customer APRs.
2. What do you think makes your entry stand out and why should you win the award?
We have turned regulatory requirements into bespoke actions plans with partners to improve customer outcomes.
Our programme, now in its fourth year, has raised the profile of fair value through engagement and communications that has helped strengthen partner fair value governance.
This unique programme has helped drive a significant reduction in customers being offered higher APRs in 2026.
Changes agreed for next year will lead to further rate reductions and customer savings.
3. What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?
As the market leader, we are committed to doing the right thing and working with partners to improve outcomes for customers.
Winning would be recognition for both colleagues and our partners who together, have helped to promote fair value, meet regulatory commitments and ultimately drive substantial and lasting customer benefit.
