The appointee is ‘ready to hit the ground running’ in improving insurer relationships and broker experience

Motorcycle cover provider MCE has promoted Mark Etheridge to the role of head of insurance partnerships.

The firm was established in 1975 and is based in the UK. In addition to providing motorcycle cover, MCE specialises in salvaged motorcycle and parts sales through Big Ed’s Motorcycle World.

Etheridge – who has served at MCE for 16 years – has worked in several senior management positions throughout the sales, marketing and product departments at the firm.

In his new role, he aims to build “new and innovative” relationships with insurers and improve broker experience.

‘Exciting turning point’

Julian Edwards, chief executive at MCE, said: “I’ve worked with Mark for many years, in fact in the early days of his career we worked very closely on similar partnerships. His vast experience will go a long way to branch out to the right new partners for us that I know will take us to the next level.”

Etheridge, meanwhile, said that he is “ready to hit the ground running” as head of insurance partnerships.

He continued: “MCE has evolved so much over the last few years and we’re at an exciting turning point now being ready to offer out our exceptional broker services to insurers.”
