It is the first combined commercial offering available on Open GI to brokers

QBE has widened its SME product distribution even further, making it available on Open GI’s platform.

Its Business Combined insurance will now be available to Open GI’s platforms – Powerplace SME and Mobius.

It is the first combined commercial offering available to Open GI’s commercial brokers.

And it has plans to add further products during 2019 that will strengthen the panel.

The news follows QBE announcing just a few weeks ago the launch of QBE Office insurance on Powerplace.

E-trade

QBE’s e-trade development manager, Corinne Pringle, said: “QBE is delighted to be the first insurer to offer an e-trade Business Combined product on Open GI’s platforms.

“Together we are committed to serving brokers more flexibly.”

The product offers a range of optional covers – buildings, business interruption and liabilities.

This is in addition to the core contents which offers an all in one flexible package.

Tailored policy

The policy can be tailored to meet customers’ needs with the assurance of wider cover and inner limits for various extensions.

It also allows the quotation of property covers to be done in isolation such as contractors’ premises.

It’s chief sales officer, David Kelly, added: “We have been busy working on a commercial combined offering for some time with our brokers, and so I am thrilled to welcome the addition of QBE Business Combined to our Powerplace SME and Mobius panel.

“Product choice, price competitiveness and ease of use are areas Open GI are very much invested in as we continue to enhance brokers satisfaction and trading via our platforms.”

Open GI distributes to over 1,100 brokers across its commercial lines’ solutions.
