Brown has spent eight years with Miles Smith in several roles
Miles Smith chief sales officer Sharon Brown will leave the firm at the end of the month.
Brown told Insurance Times she would take a two-month break before considering her options, explaining that she had “achieved all she had wanted to achieve with Miles Smith”.
Smith recently told Insurance Times the interesting story of how she returned to the insurance industry with Miles Smith after working as a sports therapist.
After joining the wholesale broker in 2011, she restructured the firm’s Broker Distribution function and went on to take a place on the board.
During her time there she served as the broker relationship director, group distribution and marketing director, and then chief sales officer.
In a statement, Miles Smith praised her “flair for marketing” and “creative view on product distribution.”
It added: “We would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Sharon for all of her hard work and commitment over the last eight years helping to grow and promote Miles Smith both internally and externally with clients and markets.
“Miles Smith will miss Sharon’s drive and passion and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours.”
