’Our strategy is centred on making it easier for advisers to place general insurance business with confidence,’ says finance and insurer relationship director
Source Insurance has added non-standard home specialist MGA Pen Underwriting onto its home insurer panel.

Pen Underwriting’s inclusion on the panel enhances underwriting depth across property types and risk profiles, including flood-exposed homes due to the MGA’s Flood Re capability.
The increased capacity allows advisers to place both standard and complex risks with greater flexibility when quoting through Source Insurance.
Jonathan Pinkerton, finance and insurer relationship director at Source Insurance, said: “Our strategy is centred on making it easier for advisers to place general insurance business with confidence.
”Expanding our panel with Pen Underwriting broadens our risk appetite and underwriting capability including more support for flood-exposed properties where appropriate. This strengthens our overall proposition and reinforces our commitment to sustainable growth and adviser support.”
Partner collaboration
With a team focused on insuring non-standard homes and homeowners, Pen Underwriting’s addition to the panel reflects a shared commitment to delivering accessible propositions for advisers.
