The expertise and ‘aligned’ culture of the acquired firm will ‘add tremendous value’ to SRG’s existing motor capability, says deputy chief executive
Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has today (4 January 2022) acquired Fleet and Commercial Insurance Brokers, subject to regulatory approval.
Fleet and Commercial, which was established in 2011 and is based in Oxfordshire, offers a variety of products including public and employers’ liability, property owners and professional indemnity insurance.
The broker will become part of SRG’s retail division – Specialist Risk Insurance Solutions (SRIS) – as part of the move, led by managing director Oliver Thorne.
Fleet and Commercial’s company directors Tony McLeman and Tom West will continue to lead the business, while fellow company director Alex Thomas will retire.
The next phase
