Chief executive says the appointment will ’strengthen our ability to deliver excellent service’

Insurance services provider Thomas Miller has appointed Elliot Dunseath as its new group risk and compliance director, a statement released yesterday (18 July 2023) said.

Dunseath brings over 25 years of experience in risk and compliance – both within and outside of the insurance industry – to the role.

Prior to joining Thomas Miller, Dunseath served as head of risk and compliance at Nexus Underwriting and Xenia Broking, which is part of Kentro Capital.

He also worked as the compliance manager at Aon Benfield.

‘Evolving landscape’

Hugh Titcomb, chief executive at Thomas Miller, said the appointee’s “depth of experience and extensive knowledge of the insurance industry and risk and compliance will further strengthen our ability to deliver excellent service as we navigate the constantly evolving landscape of this industry”.

Thomas Miller specialises in the international transport and professional indemnity sectors.

Dunseath said the business ”prides itself on its service ethos and well-established range of businesses”.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
