Earlier this month (4 December 2024), nearly 1,000 people from the industry returned to the iconic Great Room of Grosvenor House for 2024’s Insurance Times Awards.
With 37 categories and trophies ranging from bronze, silver and gold, the awards are designed to recognise the very best and brightest in UK general insurance.
Hosted this year by TV and radio favourite Claudia Winkleman, guests were invited to hold on to their hats as she powered through the award presentations in her own inimitable style, raising many laughs along the way.
Along with a sparkling drinks reception and delicious three course meal, the celebration also included a few surprises thrown in for good measure – the highlight being a roof raising performance from X Factor alumni and West End star Alexandra Burke, which kicked off the second half of the presentations.
