Insurance training provider Wiser Academy has appointed Lauren Pullen as director of operations.

In her new role, Pullen will be responsible for overseeing the quality of training and ensuring the team maintains its Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ standards.

She will report to chief executive Crescens George.

“We are delighted to have Lauren in this crucial role, allowing me to focus on developing the next-generation curriculum that will increase the flow of high-quality talent into this thriving and dynamic industry,” George said.

Experience

Pullen joined Wiser Academy in 2022 as EPA and quality manager before rising through the ranks.

She brings experience in training provision and overseeing ESFA and Ofsted compliance to her new role.

“I am thrilled to have been appointed at a time when we are aligning our focus towards a period of significant growth,” Pullen said.

“I am passionate about accelerating Wiser Academy’s vision to become the market leader in our sector while further enhancing the service we offer to the insurance industry.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
