Lovatt to develop broker relations in Birmingham
NIG has appointed Paul Lovatt as area underwriting manager for its Birmingham office.
Lovatt joins NIG from Chartis Europe where he was combined UK underwriting manager.
He will lead the underwriting and service culture department and develop NIG business in the region.
NIG head of regional trading Stuart Webb said: “We are focusing on developing strong local relationships, and the appointment of Paul further underlines this. Paul has vast experience of disciplined underwriting, and has delivered excellent results in his career to date, including managing large teams and meeting targets. “
Newly-appointed area underwriting manager Lovatt said: “There is a fantastic opportunity to develop an excellent portfolio of businesses in Birmingham and across the Midlands area as a whole.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
