The TV Z-list of has-beens queuing up to be abused on ITV's I'm a celebrity .. get me out of here! have had to pay for their own insurance.

According to reports, each celebrity, including such luminaries as model Sophie Anderton, Princess Diana's old butler Paul Burrell and Huggy Bear actor Antonio Fargas, have had to pay a £4,000 premium in personal injury cover in case they get themselves killed or injured in the jungle.

It seems the TV production company refused to pay the cover after last year's contestant ex-Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon decided to go walkabout and roam the jungle alone.

Backchat wonders if anyone out there can offer a better rate ...
