Tony Darwall has joined Ordnance Survey, Great Britain's mapping agency, as strategic development manager for the insurance sector.
Darwall brings some 18 years of experience in general insurance to Ordnance Survey including senior sales management roles as both an insurer and in the service-provider environment. Prior to joining Ordnance Survey, he was commercial director of a specialist third-party administration business.
Darwall said: "I am hugely excited to be joining Ordnance Survey at a time when more and more insurers are becoming aware of the value of geographic information and the significant benefits it can bring to their business".
