Loss adjuster Crawford & Company has clinched a long-term contract to handle subsidence claims for Lloyds TSB.
Crawford's National Subsidence Unit was opened in 1999 to offer a complete service package for insurer's claims needs. The package was developed to cut back claims expenditure and claims lifecycles.
As a result, Crawford says that claims backlogs are being reduced.
Homeowners are being provided with detailed technical reports on their claims, so they are less inclined to query a final claims decision.
