’By closing the gaps in cover resulting from advice not dovetailing appropriately, we eliminate the potential for uninsured loss,’ says managing partner

Broker Partners& has teamed up with American broker Smith Brothers Insurance for its first transatlantic partnership in the international private clients market.

According to Partners&, the partnership is intended to fill a gap in the international private client market.

It explained that estate and asset protection can often be complex, particularly when working across borders and between various insurers.

“Disparate policies may not work together and the lack of collaboration between brokers in different countries can cause confusion and leave clients exposed,” it added.

Darren Humphray, managing partner of private clients at Partners&, noted that the firm had seen that there were often gaps in coverage, which could unknowingly lead to significant potential exposures for clients.

He explained: “By closing the gaps in cover resulting from advice not dovetailing appropriately, we eliminate the potential for uninsured loss.

“Our aim is to ensure we listen to clients and collaborate with their advisers and determine exactly what they need or don’t.”

Commitment

According to Partners&, the new partnership will enhancing the customer service experience clients have when engaging with their insurance while ensuring global assets are protected and responses are “quick and effective”.

Humphray, said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Smith Brothers. We’ve both built our business on providing friendly, professional service and expert advice focused on the needs of our clients.”

Mike Kelly, practice leader at Smith Brothers Private Client Group, added: “We couldn’t have asked for a better partner than Darren and his team at Partners&. Their unwavering dedication to client experience and extensive expertise in the private client space align perfectly with our mission.

“Our clients frequently request the Smith Brothers experience for their UK exposures and we are grateful to collaborate with Darren and his team to deliver a world class risk management offering.”
