It can be tricky to gain an advantage during challenging times, but the rewards are there for those who can

This year’s theme for Biba is Opportunities in Adversity, but what does this mean? It can sometimes be difficult to see opportunities in times of adversity, but those busiensses that do will no doubt be better placed to take advantage.

Opportunities are often found by looking inward and evaluating your strengths and weaknesses: assessing where there is room to grow and where there is room to learn. The tough climate has forced many companies to reassess their models and the way in which they are operating - and this is no bad thing if they come out the other side in better shape.

RSA has been no different: over the last couple of years we’ve taken a look at our business too. We revisited all parts of the company and refreshed and made changes where necessary. We have made strong, firm decisions about where we want to commit and focus our business: making relationships with our key brokers as strong as possible through listening to what they need from us, to make it as easy as possible to do business with us.

Biba is one of the best events of the insurance calendar, where our industry meets, talks, learns, and understands - many of the things that our business is based on. It's simple: those that seek out and look for opportunities will get the most out of Biba. See you there.
