Us company The PMI Group is to offer mortgage insurance products in the UK, Ireland and Europe through its Dublin-based subsidiary, PMI Mortgage Insurance PMI).
The two key mortgage products to be offered in Europe will be Primary MI and Structured Portfolio Products, which protect mortgage lenders and investors against borrower default by paying foreclosure-related losses.
PMI said its core customers in Europe would be mortgage lenders, investment banks and insurance brokers.
