QBE hope that the move will help widen its footprint in the SME market
Open GI’s commercial lines solution PowerPlace has begun offering commercial specialist QBE’s tradesman product to its Northern Ireland brokers.
QBE’s tradesman product offers cover to existing and emerging professions and contractors. It caters for risks with a turnover of up to £2.5m and up to 25 employees.
QBE joined the PowerPlace platform in February and it has extended its coverage.
QBE head of SME Dave Greaves said: “At QBE we are committed to widening our footprint in the SME market place.
“We want to ensure that our products are available across the whole of the UK.”
PowerPlace chief executive Nick Giddings added: “This is excellent news for our Northern Ireland broker community. Having QBE on our panel is a real asset and undoubtedly strengthens our proposition.”
