Ant Sherlock will take up is new role with the MGA on 18 August
Prestige Underwriting has hired Ant Sherlock as head of (GB) sales and distribution.
Sherlock will join the MGA on 18 August from AXA’s commercial lines and personal intermediary division, after more than 17 years at the insurer.
While at AXA he took on a number of management roles within personal lines including motor engineering, claims and strategy, before joining the sales and distribution team in 2006 to manage large MGA, specialist and panel relationships.
He said: “Having supported Prestige over the past four years in a capacity as AXA business manager, I am delighted to be joining such an established, strong broker business with an excellent reputation across home and motor.
“I am excited about the new challenge and look forward to supporting their ambitious growth aspirations over the next few years.”
Property underwriting director Gillian King added: “We are very excited to have Ant joining our team to help spearhead our latest expansion plans.”
