Insurance industry IT supplier Promark Software, based in Sussex, has launched a web-enabled version of its Progen 2 administration system.

The move is an acknowledgement of the pace at which e-commerce is being taken up by the insurance industry.

This means that brokers will be able to update data electronically.

They will be able to go on-line to register a new claim from a policyholder or amend client information.

Other features include on-line access for brokers to their account details; information on the full range of services an insurer offers and access by policyholders and brokers to claims status.

This last feature includes a full payment history and round-the-clock access on-line for brokers and policyholders.

"The launch of integrated web functionality as part of Progen is an important evolution that provides even greater service and accessibility for insurers, broker and policyholders," said Progen managing director Richard Beasley.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
