PWS Holdings has opened a new office in Taiwan and recruited a new managing director

PWS Holdings plc, the international reinsurance broker, has opened a new office in Taiwan and recruited a new managing director for the branch. The new office is situated on the 28th floor of Taipei 101 – the world’s tallest building.

Although PWS has now operated in the Taiwanese market for over 30 years, this is the first office the Group has opened there.

PWS is also delighted to announce it has recruited Steve Chang to be managing director of the new office. Chang joins PWS from Ming Tai, where he was chief underwriter in its Fire Department.

Commenting Stephen Card, chief executive officer of PWS said: “I am delighted that our expansion continues, with the opening of a new office in Taiwan. Having been operational there for the past 30 years, this move cements our commitment to what is a fast growing and important territory. We are similarly delighted to have attracted someone of Steve’s calibre to spearhead our new venture there.”
