Reinsurance broker, PWS Holdings, has reported a 32% jump in post-tax profits to £2.5m (2004: £1.9m).

The company said it was its tenth successive year of profitable trading.

Lord Pearson of Rannoch, chairman of PWS, said: “PWS made good progress in the year, especially given the difficult market conditions which continue to prevail in the reinsurance sector."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
