Insurer QBE relocates to new Midlands office
QBE has expanded its operation in Birmingham.
QBE’s Birmingham team increased when it acquired Brit Insurance in April, creating a combined team of 35 staff.
QBE’s new premises at 45 Church Street will bring the consolidated team together.
As part of the acquisition, QBE’s Birmingham head Tim Clarke was promoted to regional manager, responsible for QBE’s operations across the whole of the Midlands and the South West.
Clarke said; “Moving into our new Birmingham premises reflects our confidence in the region’s market and is an exciting business development opportunity. The move is a new beginning for our integrated team and will allow us the scope to continue to build our strong base.”
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
