QBE has renewed its IT outsourcing contract with Serco for a further three years, in a deal worth £4.1m.
Serco will continue to support the insurer's mainframe support services including disaster recovery, applications support, branch networking and off-site printing, the company said.
Chris Rolleston, European head of IT at QBE, said: “We have been impressed with Serco's commitment to QBE since first bringing them on board in 2002. Signing another three-year contract was a relatively straightforward decision.”
