Insurance outsourcer Quindell has signed a new contract with “one of the UK’s largest brokeing firms”.

Quindell did not name the company, but said the contract is the largest it has signed for the period ending 31 December 2013.

Quindell described the contract as ”very material” to its revenues.

The broker has more than 1.2 million motor policy holders, and Quindell will service all aspects of the claims process for the company under the contract.

The contract extends the broker’s relationship with Quindell until 31 March 2014.

Quindell chief executive Rob Terry said in a statement: “We are delighted to announce this significant new contract with one of the UK’s largest broking brands.

“It recognised early that the Quindell outsource offering would satisfy all its needs. Quindell had already integrated its service solution, which allowed for us to respond extremely quickly to provide a full claims outsourcing capability.

“Through our initial full volume trial period, we have been able to demonstrate that our integrated solution provides for a better customer journey for all participants  We look forward to developing the relationship further by working strategically with the broker’s management team.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
