R K Harrison takes new cyber boss from Marsh

R K Harrison has appointed David Rees as divisional director of its cyber and technology solutions arm.

Rees was previously Marsh media and technology errors and omissions senior vice president.

R K Harrison head of casualty solutions Justin Whitehead said: “The market is developing quickly and we know that our clients will benefit from David’s expertise in this complex and fast moving area of risk.”

Rees said: “We expect to see even greater interest in standalone cyber coverage over the next few years, particularly as countries expand their regulatory framework to include US-style privacy notification laws.”
